Build Fast, Model Right with Ash Framework was a three-hour crash course I co-led with Nittin Shankar at ElixirConf US. It moved through the major ideas of the Ash Framework using a real project, a project management app called Tuesday.
Over the session we set up resources, configured attributes and relationships, worked with actions, queries, and changesets, and added real-time updates with PubSub. We connected Ash to Phoenix along the way, but kept the focus on Ash itself rather than LiveView or frontend code, so most of the time went into its core tools and practical data modelling.
It was aimed at intermediate developers already comfortable with Phoenix and Ecto, and everyone left with a working GitHub repo to keep digging into afterwards.
